Pope Benedict Commends Faithfulness of Church in the Philippines

John Smeaton’s blog post quotes the Holy Father’s homily from Saturday evening, on the vigil for all nascent human life.

In his homily, the Pope specifically commends the Filipino clergy for their fight against population control measures that the legislature seeks to impose. A recent C-FAM Friday Fax reviewed these so-called “reproductive health” bills.
