Human Rights Council to Focus on Youth

At the end of last week, the Human Rights Council Advisory Committee recommended that the Human Right Council undertake a focus on “youth, both in the third and first world, in connection to marginalization and discrimination…”

The Human Rights Council Advisory Committee is the “think-tank” of the Human Rights Council, and is responsible for directing the HRC’s priorities by providing studies and research-based recommendations. International observers can expect new documents and resolutions on youth from the Human Rights Council in the coming years.
