New IACHR report labels abortion as a “repercussion” of unwanted pregnancy

Here is some important news from an inside source:
A new IACHR report on education and health of sexual assault victims just came out. (Press release here).
It refers to “unwanted pregnancies” as one of “the most severe consequences of sexual violence against women” (para. 7), among others.
It also echoes Amnesty International’s conclusion that “unintended pregnancy can have serious repercussions [such as] unsafe abortions (…). Unsafe abortions sought to end unwanted pregnancies also have many health complications, including the risk of death, for teenage girls.” (para. 148).
