UN Global Tax for Health?

Posted on | October 3, 2012 by Stefano Gennarini, J.D. |

It sounds incredible, but it is true. The United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Health, Anand Grover, is calling for a “treaty-based global pooling mechanism, comprising compulsory progressive contributions from States allocated based upon need and driven by transparent, participatory processes…”

This is what the nations of the world are being told by UN officials.

Anand Grover became infamous among pro-lifers for threatening the unborn, telling countries they should take away all legal and/or other restrictions on abortion during last year’s General Assembly. This years it seems he wants to anger a whole new constituency by threatening everyone’s wallet.
